The Paper Champs I created for GameTimePA.com included all the YAIAA high school football teams in the York area. You can download your school’s player by clicking here.

And as an added bonus we are offering a more personal touch to the individual Paper Champs player for a small fee. For more information on how to get a personalized GameTimePA.com Paper Champ visit the website.

Charles Apple, a freelance visual journalist and instructor was kind enough to blog about my paper guys along with a few other cool paper dolls. Read about them here.

And recently Apple sent me an email the other week notifying me that the Tulsa World picked up my Paper Champs idea for their own area high school football team. See their Paper Players on their website here.

So, I’m wondering where do all these football paper figures go after the fourth quarter? Perhaps they return to the Papermakers Stadium, located in Spring Grove Township?

Spring Grove Area High School cheerleaders display the new name for the school’s stadium during a naming ceremony held during homecoming festivities. The name, Papermakers Stadium, was chosen by members of the Glatfelter family in honor and appreciation of employees of the paper mill.

So, what’s the next move for me in my paper making doll career? The only logical move I saw fit was to create a paper-made bobble-head version of my Editor Brad Jennings.

Visual Editor Brad Jennings holds a paper bobble head version of himself in his right hand and his trusty iPad in his left.

When I first created the illustration I made sure to dress him in my favorite outfit Brad occasionally wears, which is a purple polo shirt and a pair of khakis.

I even built one of myself just for fun too!

Now your probably wondering what’s the point of all this. Well, there is no point.

Seriously, I was trying to figure out how to make the paper dolls have more shape to them. I plan on creating another set paper dolls for the holiday in the York Daily Record’s Living section. So, I wanted to play with some different shapes and templates to see if I could make paper dolls that had more character to them.

If you look closely I added a spring for the neck, so the heads on the dolls bobble around as an extra fun detail.
